Intranet Website for San Juan de Arama City Hall
Intranet website: This project is focused on managing the internal information of the San Juan de Arama City Hall, as well as unifying formats, preserving knowledge, and handling IT requests within the entity. The site includes a custom-made CMS that allows the client to manage each of its modules in a complete and intuitive manner.
Research
During my tenure as a Support Professional for the Implementation of the Digital Government Policy at the San Juan de Arama City Hall, I observed various shortcomings in the entity's internal information flow, knowledge preservation, and format unification. Therefore, we sought a way to mitigate these issues through a web solution.
Wireframing
Using Adobe XD, we generated the wireframes, aiming to adapt to a familiar design akin to the entity's official site. Therefore, we maintained an intuitive structure similar to what the entity's staff were already accustomed to.
Design
Interactive prototypes were generated using Adobe XD, allowing the entity's executives to preview the development. Additionally, the visual identity manual was applied, utilizing the institutional typography and colors of the current administration.
Development
For the development of this Web Intranet system, technologies such as Laravel 8, Livewire, Tailwind CSS, and MySQL were used. The deployment was carried out on a local server.
Final Delivery
The San Juan de Arama City Hall's intranet website features an informational banner, a quick access section, a blog, a document bank categorized by departments, a course platform, and a support section integrated with the FreshDesk tool. This development has enabled the entity to further advance in measuring the Single Report Form on Progress in Management.
