Nomada Web
Nomada Platform is a project aimed at becoming a tool for remote workers. This American company envisioned creating a space where digital nomads could find an enjoyable place to work. The platform allows users to search through Google's databases and proprietary databases for locations that cater to remote workers. It features an advanced search that lets users filter the types of places they want to find, as well as the opportunity to register a new location not already in the database, add it to favorites, and revisit it later to see progress or leave a review. Additionally, users can create a social circle with other users, sharing lists of places and informing contacts within the platform of their work locations through the Check-in feature. Users can also see where other users are working, thus creating a vast network of remote workers who come together to share great experiences.
Research
This project began with an innovative idea from scratch, making the research phase challenging. However, we eventually gained a clear perspective on the direction the project would take and its primary focus on Digital Nomads.
Wireframing
Using the Figma tool, various wireframes of the website were created, aiming for a simple and straightforward structure from the user's perspective.
Design
Interactive mockups were developed to provide a clear vision of the final product. Throughout the development stage, various changes were made at the client's request. However, the originally defined graphic line was always maintained.
Development
his has been one of the most ambitious projects I have developed alongside another developer. We implemented this platform using technologies such as Next.js, Node.js, DynamoDB, Opensearch, Amplify, and SAM.
Final Delivery
We've chucked together a ripper project all geared up for search optimization. Right from the get-go on the first screen, users will cotton on real quick to what the platform's all about. This website's been built to work a treat on any screen size, thanks to its bonza responsive design. At the mo', the project's in the works for its second version, and the new features'll be fair dinkum ready for all you Nomads before ya know it.
